The converse of the above applies to all letters addressed to O.D.A. Ministers on primarily political matters.
The O.D.A.'s MODEV series of telegrams will continue. The O.D.A.'s telegraphic address "MINISTRANT" should continue to be used for incoming MODEV telegrams transmitted through commercial channels. All outgoing MODEV telegrams will be signed "MINISTRANT". On the questions of the possible need for a wider distribution of the MODEV series in the F.C.O., particularly as regards the dependent territories, there appears to be no need to alter the present arrangements whereby the O.D.A. Department authorising a telegram indicates the F.C.O.'s distribution in the draft. The O.D.A.'s present distribution lists can stand unchanged,
subject to the addition of a "dependent territories" distribution.
