I am sorry that through an unaccountable lapse I said in my note of 22 November to you that Hong Kong. would be going over to the new Dependencies Division. What I ought to have said was that it was going over to Ronnie Belcher's Division here. But as the precise date of our domestic rearrangement is not yet fixed, perhaps the simplest course is for you to let me know what you think of the suggestion in Dick King's minute. I will then carry it forward here or arrange for those newly responsible here to deal with it.
