I would be very grateful if you could let me have a note, urgently, of the position as it now obtains in the Six regarding imports of Hong Kong textiles, whether cotton or otherwise. Dan Jones, a Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Parliamentary Group, and Brian Walden are due to go to Hong Kong at the invitation of the Hong Kong Association, leaving on the 7th January, and it would be useful if you could provide this information before that date, sending a copy to each of them.
