b Licences will be granted freely for goods exported

Britain from the supplying country in 1972, and arriving in the

before 1 April 1972, provided that evidence is produced

of the 1972 date of export.

All countries with bilateral and country quotas

should therefore continue to provide export certificates

all

for/exports within these quotas to the United Kingdom up

to the end of 1971. The bilateral quota countries, namely,

India and Hong Kong, whose certification applies to all

cotton yarn and woven cotton textile exports to the United

Kingdom, are requested to continue to issue export certifi-

cates for all such exports in 1972 likely to arrive in the

United Kingdom before 1 April 1972. This will facilitate

the issue of licences on the basis mentioned at (b) above.

d For Algeria, Brazil, Br. Honduras, Ceylon, Colombia,

Cyprus, Gibraltar, Greece, Iran, Israel, Jamaica, Kenya,

Lebanon, Macao, Malta, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Nigeria,
