COTTON TEXTILES: TRANSITION FROM QUOTAS TO TARIFF
As agreed at your meeting this morning, I enclose a slight re-draft of the
opening paragraphs of the submission to Ministers and also the draft of a letter
from the Minister for Industry to the Chancellor of the Exchequer seeking the
latter's agreement to inclusion of a clause in the 1971 Finance Bill.
