Mr. Kemmis of DTI is of the opinion that, although the EEC have not yet announced their GPS offer for other recipients, it is likely that South Korea, being a member of the Group of 77, will be offered preferences
on textiles and shoes although Taiwan, not being a Group member, will not receive this offer. However, the Keninės expects that Taiwan will be included by the EEC after some mouths from their offer being made house clapsed.
