Last year the Inspectors effected cuts in LE
staff "designed to produce a tighter section
with a keener cutting edge". According to the
Ambassador's recent Information Policy Report,
the Information Officer is left with little
scope for useful innovations and initiatives.
Future Developments
There are no foreseeable events which might
involve increased activity or expenditure.
There will be a State Visit to Thailand early
in 1972.
