I am a student from Hong Kong at present studying
I am
in London, my area being political science. engaged on a peice of research on Hong Kong, specifically
on the decision-making process involved in the
selection of a new Governor this Spring. The Librarian
at the Hong Kong Government Office here has kindly
allowed me to use their library.
However, I wonder if it will not be possible, with your help and suggestions, to gain access (for interviews) with the persons more intimately involved
in the decision-making, or with others who can talk knowledgeably about it. I am less interested in who the potential Governor will be than in how and why
he is selected.
