Hong Kong and the EEC
Attached is a copy of the brief prepared for
Mr. Rippon's visit to Hong Kong. I assume that
Mr. Royle will not wish to go over the same ground during
his forthcoming visit. Nevertheless, it seems likely
that he will be tackled on this question and I suggest,
therefore, that he might wish to read the attached
brief before leaving London.
If it would help we could
have copies run off of the "background" (a page and a
half only) and also of the "talking points" (four pages).
