BONC INAUGURAL FLIGHT TO TORYG

At the signing of the Anglo-Soviet air agreement on 18 April, the Chairmen of BMC invitod Lord Chalfont to go to Tokyo on BUMC's inaugural flight via Moscow on 2 June. He would be able to return by any scheduled flight on, approximately, 7 or 8 June, and of course, to visit EXPO.

2. The President of the Board of Trade has also been invited to go on the inaugural flight. I understand that it is not yet certain whether he will be able to accept. Ir. Goromy Roberts, Minister of State at the Board of Trade dealing with aviation, has been approached, but is unble to go.

3. Lord Chalfont would be grateful to know whether you and the other departments concerned think that it would be useful for him, subject to his other commitments, to accept this invitation, and to visit EXPO?
