US of S (Army), Mr Ivor Richard, is due to visit Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong between 25th May and 7th June.
The details of his visit are not yet known but I have been asked to provide him with a political brief on Hong Kong.
I enclose a brief with which you kindly provided us for Mr Roy Hat- tersley's visit to the Colony in January. I would be grateful if you would up date this and add to it as necessary. In view of the Spring Holiday,
I would like to have all the papers for the visit cleared by 15th May so perhaps you could let me have your contribution before then.
