Anyone objecting to the proposed reclamations is required to
submit his objections to the Director of Public Works within two months.
Plans showing the areas affected can be inspected at the
District Office, Tsuen Wan, and the Port Works Division, Public Works
Department, New Rodney Block, Queensway, Hong Kong.
EXHIBITION OF INDUSTR PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Commissioner Of Labour Opens Show On Monday
The Commissioner of Labour, Mr. R.M. Hetherington, will open an
exhibition of industrial protective equipment and clothing on Monday,
February 16.
The exhibition, at the old British Oxygen Yard at 41A Ma Tau
Wei Road, is jointly sponsored by the Labour Department's Industrial Safety Training Centre and local manufacturers and agents of companies
specialising in industrial protective equipment.
The first of its kind ever to be held in Hong Kong, it will
have on display protective devices such as machine guards, head and foot wear, welding goggles and masks, respirator and, safety belts.
