aircraft bound for a specified country and to
secure him a passage to that country;
(d) to the owners or agents of any ship or aircraft bound
for a specified country requiring them, at the expense
of the Government, to make arrangements for the
removal of that person from Hong Kong and to secure
hin a passage to that country, notwithstanding that
such person did not arrive in Hong Kong in a ship cr
aircraft of which they are the owners or agents or in
any ship or aircraft.
(2) A person in respect of whom directions are given
under subsection (1) may be placed under the authority of an
immigration officer on board any ship or aircraft in which he is
to be removed in accordance with the directions
(3) Where the ship in which a person arrived in Hong
Kong is a ship not exceeding five hundred gross tons
(a)
the master of that ship may be required under
subsection (1)(a) to remove that person from Hong
Kong forthwith in that ship; and
(b)
an immigration officer nay take such steps as he
thinks necessary to procure the immediate departure
of that ship from Hong Kong.
(4) A person may be removed from Hong Kong under section
15 by land to a specified country; and for that purpose may be
taken in the custody of an immigration officer or police
officer to the place at which he is to be removed.
