(b) produce to the officer any such documents which are

in his possession.

(6) An immigration officer may require a person being

examined under section 3 to furnish to him such information

as he may require for the purposes of this Ordinance.

(7) An immigration officer may give such directions as

he considers necessary for preventing any person from evading

examination under section 3.

(8) The Director of Immigration may exempt from paragraph

(b) of subsection (4) any person or any class or description

of persons.

Refusal of

permission

and

conditional

permission.

5. (1) On the examination under paragraph (a) of

section 3 of any immigrant other than a serviceman, an

immigration officer may

(a) refuse the immigrant permission to land in

Hong Kong; or

(b) permit him to land in Hong Kong subject to such

landing conditions as may be imposed by the

immigration officer.

(2) Subject to subsection (6), permission to land in

Hong Kong shall be deemed to be subject to the prescribed

landing conditions in addition to any landing conditions

imposed under subsection (1).

(3)

In the case of an immigrant who is a member of a

party in the charge of a responsible person,
