Review Under Way
While Government is considering this preliminary report, the Rating
and Valuation Department is assembling material for its annual review of
accommodation which will, this year, give special attention to premises
subject to rent changes.
This review should provide additional useful information about
forward building programmes in Hong Kong. It is expected to be completed
by mid-February.

As previously announced, the Commissioner of Rating and Valuation, Mr. N. Cooke, will meet Press representatives in the G.I.S. Theatre, on the fifth floor of Beaconsfield House, at 3.30 p.m. tomorrow (Friday) to give more detailed statistical information related to these findings and the basis on which they have been reached.
