Following Parliamentary Question by Lord
Sorensen is for oral answer on 15 July: "To ask
whether the condition of Hong Kong continues to be
tranquil; what further progress has been made in
providing accommodation for Chinese families; whether
this more than keeps pace with the increase in
population; and whether further constitutional
improvements are contemplated."
2. A similar question was asked last year by Lord
Sorensen; our telegram No. 348 of 17 May, 1969 refers.
