Act 1962. I do not think it can really be said to be
a precedent for the provision in the Hong Kong
Prevention of Corruption Bill requiring legal advisers
to disclose privileged information. You will notice that subsection (7) is very restrictive and its purpose
is to enable the Commissioners of Inland Revenue to
assess a person for tax.
