Miss Emery told us at Sir L. Monson's meeting on
Tuesday 5 January that she had unearthed two old letters (on the subject of despatches) sent to the Governors of
the Dependent Territories by the Colonial Office. She
will be circulating copies of these letters to the
geographical Departments, together with suggestions as
to how we should proceed.
