a. Negotiations with the Malaysian Government to close the
Penang Garrison in December 1970 should start by the end of
August.
b. 10 GR should be warned to be prepared to close the
Garrison in December 1970 and move to Hong Kong eight months
earlier than planned.
Singapore
1/2 GR to be warned for unaccompanied service in Hong Kong
from mid-Oct to mid-Dec 70.
b. 42 Cdo to be warned for unaccompanied service in Northern
Ireland from mid-Sep 70 to mid-Dec. 70.
