EXECUTIVE COUNCIL DECISION OF 2.6.70
The Council considered memorandum XCC(70)28.
The Council ADVISED and the Governor ORDERED:
(a)
(b)
that the new aim for educational policy, as expressed in paragraph 8 of the newerandum, be endorsed, subject to the amendment of mab-paragraph (iii) to refer to "18 - 20% of the 12-16 year age group";
that the remaining proposals in the memorandum be endorsed,
subject to similar endorsement by the Finance Committee of the Legislative Council.
