I undertook at this morning's meeting to let you have a number of minor changes in WGE (70) 37 which we
would like to suggest. A note of them is enclosed.
We also agreed that I would let you have amendments to
paragraphs 29 and 30 on landing rights and K.L.M.
I suggest that the following two amendments be made in
these paragraphs:
(a) insert after the sentence ending in line
5 of page 14 "......already serve Hong Kong.
(On the other hand, the continued exclusion
of K.L.M. from the right to land in Hong Kong
will mean that the goodwill of the Nether-
lands Government - perhaps the Government of
the Community which would otherwise be most
inclined to favour some concessions for Hong
Kong in the trade field will not be likely
