Hong Kong Association
The Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster has agreed to see the Chairman of the Hong Kong Association, Mr. Hamm, at 5 p.m. on Thursday, 29 October. Mr. Hamm has asked to discuss the questions for Hong Kong which our negotiations to join the European Communities will raise.
2. I submit a brief for the meeting, which has been cleared with Hong Kong Department and Trade Policy Department.
3. It may well be necessary to add to the brief later, in the light of what happens at the Ministerial meeting in Luxembourg on 27 October.
