Commonwealth Consultations over British Entry
to the EEC
The verbatim record of Mr. Barber's meeting with Commonwealth High Commissioners in London on 3 July, to brief them on the opening meeting of negotiations in Luxembourg on 30 June is now enclosed. All High Commissioners in London, except those from Lesotho, Nauru, Swaziland and Zambia attended the meeting or were represented. The Mauritian Minister of Agriculture was also present, as was the Eastern Caribbean Representa- tive and the Secretary-General of the Commonwealth.
