Mr. Ho, after consulting Messrs. Lam and Lin, accepted the Swedish conceived conversion factors.

53.

Mr. Henriksson thanked the Hong Kong side for understanding the difficulties faced earlier by the Swedish side but stressed that as the meeting was a technical one, the agreement on conversion factors was not to be regarded as a final decision on the concept of swing.

54.

Mr. Lam expressed the hope that the Swedish side would adopt the same attitude and understanding of Hong Kong's difficulties, as Hong Kong had shown on the acceptance of their proposals, and that they would be able to see their way to accepting 'swing'.
