need to obtain ministerial endorsement of the
agreed statement.
We will submit to linisters as
Boon as we have an agrood final text for that
purpose.

Finally, I would like to raise the
question of the use and distribution of an agreed
statement. It do my understanding that you wish
to show it to your ocutive Corneil and that it
will then servo as guide-lines for use of officials.
Perhaps you would confirm this understanding.
Be
or our part will put it to the latter use in the
Depart ents concerned there and will wish to
send it for midance to selected posts abroad
(particularly Washington, Coneva and UKDEL
Brussels).
