UK Relations with Hong Kong on Textiles
We should be grateful for your advice on the
best way of handling these proposals in the GATT.
We would prefer the change to come into effect
with as little publicity as possible. We assume
that it would be possible for HMG to 2x tell Long
informally and that otherwise it would be sufficient
if we were to inform only those members with whom
Hong Kong is likely to have discussions?
