Van Geen of the Dutch Permanent Representation told me on 6 November that an inter-departmental meeting in The Hague had that morning discussed the question of Hong Kong and Unctad Preferences.
2. It had been definitely decided that the Dutch should support the inclusion of Hong Kong in the Community's Unctal Preference offer. They would insist, however, on the exclusion of some (he did not say all) textile items in the non-cotton textile & sector.
