5. Mr. Royle may wish to inform the unofficial mezbers of
Exoo and Legeo in Hong Kong that HEG is making every effort
by representations to the major donor countries to obtain
Hong Kong's inclusion as a beneficiary under the Generalised
Preferences Scheme. He could go on to say that while he was
in Tokyo he personally raised the matter with representatives
of the Japanese Government.
