Hong Kong: a problem for the Communities
A delegation of textile worker trade unionists called on Lord Shepherd on 17 March to discuss conditions of work in Hong Kong. Mr. Gibson, General-Secretary of the Hosiery and Knitwear Workers Union,
said that he had just returned from Brussels with other trade unionists where he said
EEC officials regarded Hong Kong as an important factor and "obstacle" in connection with British entry into the Communities.
