To be handed over to the leader of the ilong Kong
Delegation on the occasion of the signing of the Agreement concerning
trade in cotton textiles between the E.E.C. and Hong Kong in
accordance with Article 4 of the Long Term Arrangement.
The Direction General for External Trade of the E.E.C.
Commission presents its compliments to the hong Kong Government and
has the honour to refer to the exchange of letters of

concluding an Agreement between the 7.5.C. and Hong Kong regarding
trade in cotton textiles.
Inasmuch as the Hong Kong Government has been so verbally
informed, it is necessary to point out the global import ceilings
for the said products established for the Community for the period
of validity of the said Agreement, will be shared between the Member
States as follows:-

At the Annex is the list of specific ceilings mentioned in
