I have today received certain documents from the Registran of Trade Unions, Hong Kong, including a certificate of Registration. number TU/463. The above Association. is now a Registered Trade Union. with effect from yesterday, 17th February, 1970.

In view of the foregoing, I hereby fofmally request that Management recognise this Inade Union as a negotiating body and that the Executive Officers of this Union, be granted the night of direct approach with Management on. Trade Union matters.
The Branch will soon, be holding elections for Office Bearers and the elected Secretary will provide you with a list of Executive Officers, as soon as possible after elections.
Branch membership to date is 62 and we have 9 applications under review.
