26. Section 63 of the principal Ordinance is repealed and
replaced by the following -
"Service of
63.
(1) Every
legal
process and
notices
issued by
(a)
summcns, notice or other document required
Registrar.
(b)
to be served on a registered trade union
in any civil or criminal proceeding; and
notice or cther document issued by the
Registrar under this Ordinance and required
to be served on a registered trade union,
shall be decaed to bc duly served if it is delivcred
at er sent by registered post addressed to the
rogistered office of the trade union cr if it is
served personally on any officer of the trade union,
provided that such service is otherwise in compliance
with the requirements of any relevant Ordinance.
(2) Notwithstanding the provisions of
subsection (1), whenever the Registrar is required
under section 11 to give notice to a trade union,
he day in addition publish such notice in the
Gazette and such publication shall be deemed to
bc good and effective notice to the trade union."
