(i) by deleting "and" at the end of paragraph (a);
(ii) by deleting the full stop at the end of paragraph (b)
and substituting the following
"and";
(iii) by inserting after paragraph (b) the following new
paragraph
"(c) no person shall be refuzed membership of a
trade union solely on the ground that he is
casually or seasonally engaged or employed
in the trade, industry or occupation with
which the trade union is directly concerned ";
by deleting subsection (3) and substituting the following -
First Schedule.
"(3) Save with the consent of the Governor in
Council, no person who has been convicted of any
cffence specified in the First Schedule shall, within
the period of five years from the date of his convict-
ion or discharge from prison, whichever is the later,
be an officer of a registered trade union.
First Schedule.
(34) The Governor may, by order published in the
Gazette amend the First Schedule.".

The principal Ordinance is amended by adding after section
