2. In draft Bill sent with your Saving Desptch No 1137
of 10 October 1969, Clause 24 amends Section 55 of the
principal ordinance.
3. Mr. England's memorandum, however, states in para. 6 that Clause 24 amends Section 47 of the principal ordinance. A possible explanation of the discrepancy may be that the draft Bill seen by Mr. England was renumbered as a result of the insertion of the amendment proposed in para. 3 of your saving despatch No. 736 of 17 June.
