Factory (ii)
On the Tuesday morning we visited a factory which is a branch of a large group of three factories and a further factory under construction.
The factory we visited was built in 1947 and at the commencement manu- factured yarn and woven cloth from natural and man-made fibres but now this factory specialises in false twist yarn in the production of seamless hose and tights and jersey fabric, also fully fashioned outerwear. The factory, when built, cost 10 million U.S.A. dollars and covered approximately 15 acres. There are
Group outside one of the factories visited with local officers of Zensen Domei and the factory officials.
