You will remember that I wrote to you on 23 February about Haddon-Cave's working visit to London in the autumn.
We have been in touch with the Treasury, the Bank of England, the Civil Service Department and the Board of Trade about this and are now in a position to give you a broad outline of the arrangements we have in mind. Before we start drawing up a detailed programme however we would be grateful if you would confirm that you and Haddon-Cave agree with the suggestions we have in mind. They are as follows:-
Monday, 5 October to Friday, 9 October
Monday, 12 October to Friday, 30 October
Monday, 2 November to Friday, 13 November Monday, 16 and Tuesday, 17 November
Wednesday 18 November to Friday, 20 November
