VISIT OF MR PHILIP HADDON-CAVE
Steel wrote to Wilford on 2 October enclosing a programme covering all Haddon-Cave's visits to the Whitehall Departments and to the Bank of England. Steel mentioned that there might be one or two additions to the Treasury programme and I should be grateful if you would arrange for the following information about an additional meeting to be passed on to Haddon-Cave.
On Monday 9 November between 11 am and 12.30 pm a meeting has been arranged with J E Littler, the Assistant Secretary in charge of our Finance-Exchange-Control Division. His extension is 1289 and his room is 61 on the Third Floor of the Great George Street building.
I am sending copies of this letter to Haslam, Bank of England and to Littler here.
