Sir Stanley Tomlinson summoned Ma this morning
him to inform of the two impending releases. He
emphasised our particular concern over Johnston in
view of his illhealth.
3. In reply Ma demanded as usual the immediate
release of all the remaining prisoners, and said
that the forthcoming releases were too small a step.
He went on to say that if we took more positive
measures over confrontation prisoners, he was sure
that the case of Johnston would be settled.
