P., provisionally and subject to Her Majesty's pleasure, to be an Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council from 2nd June to 30th June 1970 following the resignation of Mr M.A.R. HERRIES, OBE, MC, JP with effect from 2nd June 1970.

Mr Salmon's previous appointment referred to in your Despatch HKK 1/11 dated 31st December 1969 expired on 2nd February 1970 following the return to the Colony of Mr H. J. C. BROWNE, JP.
