Note on K.S. Lo

K.S. Lo, B.A. (H.K.) Lo Kwee-seong, born Kwangtung China, naturalised British subject, educated in Malaya and at Hong Kong University. Managing Director H.K. Soya Bean Product Co. Appointed JP. 30.5.61. Earlier community services included Zone Warden, C.A.S., active Chairman of Aberdeen Kaifong Association (1953- 60);
President of Lo Clansmen Association; President Rotary Club, Hong Kong Island West; Director of Y.M.C.A.; Director United College, Chinese University of Hong Kong. Appointed member of Urban Council with effect from 1st April 1962, in which capacity he served until his voluntary retirement on 31.3.66.
To date, Mr. Lo is still a member of the Grantham Scholarship Fund Committee, the General Committee of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, the Loans for Small Industry Committee and also a member of the Trade and Industry Advisory Board. In the latter capacities he has been noticeably active.
