In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause XIV of
the Hong Kong Royal Instructions 1917 - 1969, I appoint
LAWRENCE EDWIN ARTHUR HOLT-KENTWELL
Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Justice
of the Peace to be provisionally an Official Member of the Legislative
Council of Hong Kong from 1st July 1970.
