ACTING DIRECTOR OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY
Mr. Jordan Appointed To Council

Mr. D.H. Jordan, Acting Director of Commerce and Industry, has
been appointed provisionally to the Legislative Council from today.
He replaces Mr. T.D. Sorby, who is now on leave prior to retirement
from the post of Director of Commerce and Industry.
It was announced earlier that Mr. Sorby would become the Executive
Director of the Trade Development Council in October.
At the same time, Mr. Jack Cater, presently Executive Director of
the Trade Development Council, will take up the post of Director of Commerce
and Industry.
