LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL CHANGES

Mr. G.T. Rowe, Director of Social Welfare, ceased to be an
official member of the Legislative Council with effect from August 14,
a Government spokesman announced today.
At the same time, ir. L.E.A. Holt-Kentwell, Assistant Director
of Social Welfare, presently acting as Director, also ceased to be
provisionally an official member of the Legislative Council.
Mr. Paul Tsui Ka-cheung was appointed to the Legislative Council
in a substantive nominated capacity with effect from August 17, the
spokesman said. He took over from Mr. J. P. Aserappa earlier this month
as Commissioner for Resettlement.
