Thank you for your letter of 10 April about the
appointments of the unofficial members to Executive
and Legislative Councils.
The Rourker of Stake
Lord Shepherd has agreed to the arrangements
proposed in paragraph 2 of your letter and we shall
await the receipt of your formal despatch.
As regards the official members, we take it that
you will recommend the reappointment for a further
year of all the present members except Dr. P. H. Teng,
(according to our records he will go on leave prior
to retirement next July) and that you will nominate a
replacement for Dr. Teng in due course.
