2. Evgen Philosphy.
2.1.
It is essential that in a high density Terminal Aren Clie procedu os and navi ation aids are such as to allow high acceptance and hand-off rates, accurate track keeping ami efficient utilication of the rspace. the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) as stated (mex 10, Part I, para.2.2.1.2.2.2.)

Ti e procedures and route structure should bo such that optimum effici‹cy is achieved with minimum load on the pilot and controller, and the basic principle of Terminal Area operations is to require routir › yet precise cockpit navigation with ATC monitoring.
