as you know he is away for
the day asked me to let you have a note on the Tunnel today. I think that apart from the
telegrams the last statement of the position
you will have seen is contained in Lord Brown's letter of 17th January to Lord Shepherd. I
attach a note on developments since then so far
as they are known to us.
