CONDITIONS FOR ENTRY OF RELATIVES
Conditions for entry applicable to each category are

Applications made by husbands for wives and/or children to join them
(a) The husband/father must be a bona-fide resident;
(b) He must be able to support his family, and provide
them with accommodation;
(c) Applications for the entry of wives of whatever age
will normally be approved;
(d) The following criteria will be applied in dealing
with applications for the admittance of children:-

Unmarried and dependent children under the age of 21 will normally be admitted;
Unmarried children over the age of 21 will be admitted only if there are special and extenuating circumstances, e.g. if they would otherwise be the only person separated from the remainder of the family; or if they are entirely dependent upon their parents; or physically incapa- citated in any way.
Applications for children to join one or both parents
These will normally be approved subject to compliance with the conditions laid down at (A) above, and the father/mother being a bona fide resident.
Applications from Orphans
Unmarried children under the age of 21 who have lost both their parents, can be admitted provided that they have an elder sister or brother already resident here, who is able to support and house them.
