persons in the service of British Colonial

serving members of Her Majesty's
regular naval, military or air-forces,
(vi)
who are already exempt from control);
persons in the employ of the United Nations
Organisation, the Asian Productivity
Organisation, and similar international
organisations of which Britain or Hong Kong
is a member;
household employees of Commonwealth
(vii)
Commission (or Trade Commission)
officials assigned to Hong Kong; and
(viii)
dependants of persons falling within (i) to (vii) above.

NOTE Visa Officers may exercise their discretion on the definition of "dependants", but it will generally be construed as persons who are bona-fide regular members of the household. Visas issued to persons in the above
categories should be endorsed "entry" followed by an indication of the holder's official standing. Holders of such visas will be granted unconditional landing in Hong Kong unless there are compelling reasons for taking some other course of action.
