There is one other regulation (Regulation 37) which empowers the Commissioner of Police to make Police Supervision Orders excluding any person from particular areas of the Colony or requiring him to report his movements, etc. One of the recently released detainees is already the subject of such an Order and it may well prove necessary to continue this particular Regulation in force after all the others have been either repealed or discontinued.
6. As regards those Regulations listed above which are to be repealed as soon as their provisions have been embodied in permanent legislation, steps to enact the necessary permanent legislation for this purpose are well in hand.
7.
Apart from the above, all the remaining Emergency (Principal) Regulations have been repealed
or discontinued.
