I appreciate your continuing concern with the question of appointments to the Bench from the Bar. There have been occasional precedents for such appointments in the past in other territories and your views on the matter will be kept in mind.

When we met in August last year, you raised with me also the question of interchange between members, of the Legal Department and the Judiciary. satisfied, after looking into this, that such movement as takes place is both necessary and desirable.
